Dr. Phyllis Hayes-Reams · Life Landing Coach · Creator of Below the Circle™
It’s not too late to land — whole, aligned, free.
I’m Dr. Phyllis — physician, author, and ordained minister. For years I was circling on autopilot: gripping the controls of a life that had drifted out of alignment with the woman God made me. Then I came down, came back into alignment, and became whole. Now I’m on the ground, guiding accomplished women home.
You’re the woman everyone counts on.
The striver. The caregiver. The mom running on fumes. The strong friend. The one who never drops a ball, never misses a deadline, never lets anyone see her struggle. You hold the job. The family. The marriage. The people who depend on you. The aging parent. The friend who’s falling apart. Sometimes all of them in the same day. And you do it with a smile. Because that’s what strong women do. But here’s what nobody asks you…
When was the last time you let yourself land?
Your plate is full.
There’s a quiet emptiness underneath.
And underneath that — a quieter truth.
You’ve been flying solo. Carrying the weight of command. Gripping the controls — fixing, doing, carrying loads that were never yours to carry, relying on your own strength, reacting to whatever the sky throws at you. And somewhere along the way, the radio went quiet. God’s voice became static beneath everyone else’s demands. The woman beneath the roles went silent under all the fixing and the doing. You’ve been flying over your own life — too busy living it to ever land in it. You don’t say it out loud. But you feel it. Every day.
You’re not broken. You’re not weak.
Nothing you’ve done has been wasted. You’ve just been circling on autopilot for so long that it’s all you know. Flying over your own life. Performing strength. Filling a quiet emptiness with achievements that never quite fill it — because what you were hungry for was never more. It was alignment. But there’s a whole, aligned, free woman God created — and she’s been waiting for you. Below the circle.
It’s not too late to land — whole, aligned, free.
I know. Because I was circling too.
I spent years at altitude — hands locked on the controls, performing strength while running on fumes. I was the physician who healed everyone but herself. The ordained minister who poured out but never refueled. The wife, the mom, the caregiver, the leader, the volunteer — the woman who held it all together.
And underneath all of it, I had drifted out of alignment — a degree at a time, year after year. I had played my own Air Traffic Controller for so long that God’s voice had become static beneath everyone else’s demands — and the woman beneath my roles had gone silent under all the fixing and the doing. I was flying over my own life, forcing my way through a life I was no longer aligned with. My plate was full. There was a quiet emptiness underneath.
Then God — the ultimate Air Traffic Controller — broke through. “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10) I made the decision. I released the controls. I began the descent. I landed. Hard. And on the ground, I found everything I had been flying over — my joy, my peace, my purpose, my identity. I came back into alignment. The woman God had created, birthed, and called me to be: whole, aligned, free.
Here is the truth I carry now, and the truth I want you to hear: nothing has been wasted. Every season counted. God was at work the whole time. He didn’t call me down to undo what I’d done. He called me down to finally show up for the woman He created me to be.
That’s why I created Below the Circle™ — to help striving women stop circling, land, come back into alignment, and live as the woman God created them to be.
Below the Circle™
Landing Plan
A guided path to help striving women stop circling on autopilot, come back into alignment, and become whole.
Land. Reconnect. Fly.
The Below the Circle™ Landing Plan is how Dr. Phyllis helps women release the pressure of holding everything together, come back into alignment — with God, with themselves, and with their lives — and move forward with greater clarity, peace, and discernment. This isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about coming down from the chaos, setting down what was never yours, andbecoming whole — not perfect.
You don’t have to know how to land. You just have to come down to where the ground crew is. We’ll land together.
Because life is a series of landings and takeoffs — and every woman deserves a landing plan.
Autopilot leads to regret.
Alignment leads to wholeness.
Somewhere along the way, you drifted out of alignment — a degree at a time, year after year. You kept carrying loads that were never yours: other people’s weight, old expectations, narratives you never agreed to pack. The drift became a full plate. The full plate became a quiet emptiness. And underneath the emptiness, the hardest thing to say out loud — regret: the fear that you’ve missed your own life by being too busy living everyone else’s. Here’s the truth this brand will never take back: nothing has been wasted. The way home isn’t perfection. It’s alignment — learning what’s yours to carry and what isn’t, and coming back into alignment with who God created, birthed, and called you to be.
Present with God. Present with yourself. Present with your life.
One woman, fully present, across every room. Whole. Aligned. Free.
What happens when you
stop circling and start landing?
When you walk the Landing Plan, you don’t just stop the cycle. You come back into alignment — and become whole.
This is about showing up in your life as the whole, aligned, free woman God created.
Start your descent here.

Meet Your Life Landing Coach
I’m Dr. Phyllis,
I never planned to be a Life Landing Coach. I planned to be the woman who had it all together — the physician, the minister, the mother, the wife. And from the outside, I did.
But underneath, I was circling. Gripping the controls of a life that had drifted out of alignment with who God made me. It took God’s whisper, and then His louder nudge, for me to finally release the controls, trust the descent, and land — come back into alignment — and become whole.
Now I help accomplished women do the same.
Dr. Phyllis Hayes-Reams is a Life Landing Coach, physician, author, and ordained minister. She is the creator of The Below the Circle™ Landing Plan and host of the Below the Circle Podcast.

What’s Yours to Carry — and What Isn’t.
Ten honest answers for the woman who carries everyone, holds it all together — and fears she’s missed her own life.
These are the questions you’ve asked in the quiet — at 2 a.m. when you can’t sleep, or in the car before you can make yourself go inside. Dr. Phyllis wrote ten honest answers to them — not a lecture, not a to-do list, just the kind of answers she’d give you if you were sitting across from her. Read the ones that land. Keep them somewhere you can find them on the hard nights.
Don’t land alone.
Start with the ten answers Dr. Phyllis wrote for you — What’s Yours to Carry — and What Isn’t. Read the ones that land, and keep them close. Below the Circle™ Hangar, the home for this work, is preparing to open — and you’ll be the first to know.
