It’s not too late to land — whole, aligned, free.
I’m Dr. Phyllis — physician, author, and ordained minister. For years I was circling: gripping the controls of a life I was no longer connected to. Then I came down, reconnected, and became whole. Now I’m on the ground, guiding striving women home — into the Below the Circle™ Hangar, where we do the work together.
You’re the woman everyone counts on.
The striver. The caregiver. The mom running on fumes. The strong friend. The one who never drops a ball, never misses a deadline, never lets anyone see her struggle. You hold the job. The family. The marriage. The people who depend on you. The aging parent. The friend who’s falling apart. Sometimes all of them in the same day. And you do it with a smile. Because that’s what strong women do. But here’s what nobody asks you…
When was the last time you let yourself land?
Your plate is full.
There’s a quiet emptiness underneath.
And underneath that — a quieter truth.
You’ve been flying solo. Carrying the weight of command. Gripping the controls — fixing, doing, carrying, relying on your own strength, reacting to whatever the sky throws at you. And somewhere along the way, the radio went quiet. God’s voice became static beneath everyone else’s demands. The woman beneath the roles went silent under all the fixing and the doing. You’ve missed your own life by being too busy living it. You don’t say it out loud. But you feel it. Every day.
You’re not broken. You’re not weak.
Nothing you’ve done has been wasted. You’ve just been circling for so long that it’s all you know. Flying without connection. Performing strength. Filling a quiet emptiness with achievements that never quite fill it — because nothing you poured in could reach you. But there’s a whole, aligned, free woman God created — and she’s been waiting for you. Below the circle.
It’s not too late to land — whole, aligned, free.
I know. Because I was circling too.
I spent years at altitude — hands locked on the controls, performing strength while running on fumes. I was the physician who healed everyone but herself. The ordained minister who poured out but never refueled. The wife, the mom, the caregiver, the leader, the volunteer — the woman who held it all together.
And underneath all of it, I had lost contact. I had played my own Air Traffic Controller for so long that God’s voice had become static beneath everyone else’s demands — and the woman beneath my roles had gone silent under all the fixing and the doing. I was flying solo, forcing my way through a life I was no longer connected to. My plate was full. There was a quiet emptiness underneath.
Then God — the ultimate Air Traffic Controller — broke through. “Be still. And know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10) I made the decision. I released the controls. I began the descent. I landed. Hard. And on the ground, I found everything I had been flying over — my joy, my peace, my purpose, my identity. The line was restored. The woman God had created, birthed, and called me to be: whole, aligned, free.
Here is the truth I carry now, and the truth I want you to hear: nothing has been wasted. Every season counted. God was at work the whole time. He didn’t call me down to undo what I’d done. He called me down to finally show up for the woman He created me to be.
That’s why I created Below the Circle™ — to help striving women stop circling, land, reconnect, and live as the women God created them to be.
Below the Circle™
Groundwork
A guided path — delivered inside the Hangar — to help striving women stop circling, reconnect, and become whole.
Land. Reconnect. Fly.
Below the Circle Groundwork is the framework Dr. Phyllis uses to help women release the pressure of holding everything together, reconnect — with God, with themselves, and with their lives — and move forward with greater clarity, peace, and discernment. This isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about coming down from the chaos, landing in what matters, and becoming whole — not perfect.
You don’t have to know how to land. You just have to come down to where the ground crew is. We’ll land together.
Because life is a series of landings and takeoffs — and every woman deserves a landing plan.
Disconnection leads to autopilot. Reconnection leads to wholeness.
Somewhere along the way, the connection was severed — with God, whose voice became static beneath everyone else’s demands, and with yourself, the woman beneath the roles. The disconnection became fragmentation: every room got a different version of you. The fragmentation became emptiness. The emptiness became autopilot — flight without connection. And the autopilot has cost you years of your own life. But there is a way home — and it isn’t perfection. It’s reconnection — and the wholeness only reconnection can produce.
Reconnected to God. Reconnected to yourself. Reconnected to your life.
One woman, fully present, across every room. Whole. Aligned. Free.
What happens when you
stop circling and start landing?
When you do the Groundwork, you don’t just stop the cycle. You reconnect — and become whole.
This is about showing up in your life as the whole, aligned, free woman God created.
Start your descent here.
The Below the Circle Podcast with Dr. Phyllis
Every week, Dr. Phyllis sits down with one honest question — the kind that stops you mid-scroll because it names something you’ve never heard anyone say out loud. No hype. No performance. Just one woman already on the ground, talking to one woman in the cockpit. Guiding her in. Stop circling and start landing.

The Below the Circle Hangar
Your forever home for the work of wholeness.
When you land, you don’t just need a moment of clarity. You need a sanctuary that holds you for every season ahead. The Hangar is a premium membership community for striving women who have stopped circling and are ready to reconnect and become whole — together.
A solid door. A warm welcome. Comfortable chairs. Familiar faces. Real sisterhood. Sacred teaching. Group coaching with Dr. Phyllis. Live monthly gatherings. This is home base — where the woman herself rests and refuels, and where everything she’s been carrying is unloaded, serviced, and made ready for the next flight. A place to land, breathe, refuel, and prepare for every future takeoff.
Not a program. Not a course. A forever home.

Meet Your Life Landing Coach
I’m Dr. Phyllis,
I never planned to be a Life Landing Coach. I planned to be the woman who had it all together — the physician, the minister, the mother, the wife. And from the outside, I did.
But underneath, I was circling. White-knuckling a life I was no longer connected to. It took God’s whisper, and then His louder nudge, for me to finally release the controls, trust the descent, and land — reconnect — and become whole.
Now I help striving women do the same.
Dr. Phyllis Hayes-Reams is a Life Landing Coach, physician, author, and ordained minister. She is the creator of The Below the Circle™ Landing Plan and host of the Below the Circle Podcast.
